I overall was not a huge fan of the arduino lessons especially with the range sensors because they did not work too well, nor did the console logs. But the lesson on the servo motors was my favorite because they responded properly and were fun to mess around with. What I didn’t like about the lesson and most later lessons were the amount of wires to mess around with.
I learned more about the potentiometer which was not the greatest overall because sometimes it wouldn’t work towards the low end and would only start working towards the middle. The direction in which the servo motor was moving was a tiny bit annoying because depending on what assignment you were working on, you might have had to wait some time before you could see the motor working to know if you put the correct wires in the correct spots.
An improvement to learning how the potentiometer works is talking more about the code more than just giving it to us early on and then filling it in later on. I didn’t know too well what I was doing with the map function, only that I should use the same numbers each time.
